Sam Glenn to speak Oct. 30 in Kimball

The Kimball High School senior civics class is bringing a special speaker to Kimball in the form of nationally renowned speaker Sam Glenn.

Glenn is a well-known speaker, author and winner of multiple awards such as “Best Speaker of the Year.” His goal is to recharge positivity and to ignite innovation and fun through his speeches.

According to his website, Glenn got into motivational speaking after going through a very hard time in his life. He had lost a very successful business due to fire and became negative, broke, depressed, jobless and homeless. His negative and toxic attitude poisoned his employment, relationships and health - until he got what he calls “A Kick in the Attitude.” More than 16 years later, Glenn still has the same fire and passion on the topic of attitude, which he shares with his widespread audiences.

“Sam is regarded as one of the best opening and closing keynote speakers in the speaking industry,” said Jeri Ferguson, KHS civics instructor. “We think he’ll do an outstanding job and leave an inspiring impression on our students and our community”

Glenn will come to Kimball on Oct. 30, and his performances will be held in the Harry McNees Auditorium. He will be putting on three programs that day: one for the junior high school, one for high school, and a 7 p.m. performance which is open to the public which everyone is invited to attend.
