Kimball area drag racers compete at finals in Denver

Kimball area drag racers recently traveled to Bandimere Speedway in Denver to participate in the NHRA Division 5 Summit Racing E.T. Finals held Sept. 11-14. The annual event hosts 15 NHRA Division 5 tracks where the best bracket racers in the region compete in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Pro Bike and High School for NHRA Divisional Championships and a chance to go to Pomona, Calif., for the NHRA World Championships. Racers compete the entire race season at their local tracks to earn points that allow them the honor of representing their track at the Championships.
