Hunsaker Best of the Best

Madison Biesecker (far right) took 3rd place in the 300 meter hurdles at the Best in the West competittion in Scottsbluff.

Alisha (Ali) Hunsaker emerged as the Best in last week's Best in the West Track and Field Classic held at Scottbluff's Bearcat Stadium winning the 200 meter dash with a personal best time ever of 27.36. The Kimball High sophomore who excels in other events as well, ran with the pack until she hit the back stretch and then simply ran away from the elite field made up of the fastest 8 times turned in from Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming. She could stand tall and proud on the top platform of the medal stand to receive her gold medal proclaiming her the Best of the Best in the West!
