Carol F. Jenkins

Carol F. Jenkins, 71, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Carla Gunn officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. to sign the register book and leave condolences for the family. The services for Carol have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Carol Fern Jenkins was born in Kimball on April 29, 1943, the daughter of Jesus and Emma (Moench) Munoz. She was raised and attended school in Kimball. Carol was married to Larry Feemster in 1959 and to this union her daughter Cindy and son Tom were born. She was married to Glen Jenkins in 1969. The family moved to Great Falls, Montana and lived there for a short time before moving back to Kimball in 1972. Glen preceded her in death in 1972. Carol worked at the Elm Court Café as a waitress. She then went to work at the Holiday Restaurant and Lounge as a bartender and worked there until going to work for GRI. She retired from GRI in 2009 due to failing health. Carol enjoyed playing BINGO and bowling. She also collected tiger figurines and loved spending time with her family. She liked to gamble and enjoyed her trips to the Prairie Wind Casinos.

Survivors include her son Tom (Molly) Feemster of Bellevue, NE; daughter Cindy Feemster and companion Tracy Belford of Kimball, NE; brothers Dennis (Karen) Munoz of Kimball, NE., and Robert (Inez) Munoz of Newman, CA; sister Lucille Johnsrud of Brookings, OR; grandchildren Brittne, Darcy, Jeremy, Jerred Thomas, Noah, Destiny, Judy, Joe and Jake; great grandchildren Braxton, Noelle and Sara; numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband Glen and a brother Jesse Munoz preceded her in death.
