Beverly J. Thompson, 80, of Kimball, died at the Kimball County Manor on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at St. Hilda's Episcopal Church in Kimball with Pastor Christine Plantz officiating. Burial will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Scottsbluff following the services at the church. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friends can leave condolences for the family and view the obituary at http://www.cantrellfh.com . Memorials have been established to the Kimball County Manor or Prairie Haven Hospice. The services for Beverly have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Beverly Jean Thompson was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on November 9, 1933, the daughter of Burris and Helen (Slagle) Daily. She received her early education in Huntley, Wyoming and then graduated from the Gering High School in 1951. She was married to Donald "Jack" Thompson on May 11, 1951 and to this union one child Lana was born on September 1, 1953.

Survivors include her husband Jack of Kimball, NE; step-mother Reba Daily of Mitchell, NE; granddaughters Alena Schaeffer and Jenifer Kolstad; great granddaughters Abbey and Skylar Schaeffer and Sophia Kolstad; son-in-law Steve Sillin all of CO; half sisters Peggy (Virgil) Jackson of Chugwater, WY., Carol (Sherman) Lenhart of Gering, NE., Linda (Rich) Tilton of Minatare; half brother Bob (Judy) Daily of Torrington, WY; step sister-in-law Judy Lissman of Cheyenne, WY; aunts Lois Harder of Gering, NE., and Gerry Sayre of Mitchell, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lana in 2012, infant half brother Mike Daily; half brother Chuck Daily; step sister Janice Lissman and step brother Gary Lissman
