Kara D. Haller

Kara D. Haller, 28, of Kimball, died at Kimball Health Services on Monday, January 27, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Bud Fuller officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to view Kara's Tribute Wall and leave condolences for the family. Friends may stop at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. to sign the register book and leave memorials for the family. Memorials have been established to the family for her children Lilian and Lance. The services for Kara have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Kara Dawn Haller was born in Columbus, Nebraska on April 14, 1985, the daughter of Barry and Faye (Chamberlin) Johnson. She moved with her family to Wisconsin and attended school in Sheldon, Wisconsin and graduated from the Flambeau Schools in Tony, Wisconsin in 2003. Kara worked various jobs in Wisconsin. She was married to Zachary Steven Haller in Sheldon, Wisconsin on June 17, 2005. She enrolled in child care classes and after graduation she operated Care Bear Daycare for a short time before starting her family. After her children Lilian and Lance were born she was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She also worked with children's ministries and was very active in their church. They moved to Kimball in June of 2013 to be closer to family. Kara worked at Mary Lynch School as a Para-professional. She loved family and friends and enjoyed giving of herself and taking care of the people that she could. She was a member of the New Hope Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband Zachary Haller and their children Lilian and Lance of Kimball, NE; parents Pastor Barry and Faye Johnson of Kimball, NE; brother Kaleb Johnson of Kimball, NE; sister Kendra Johnson and brother-in-law Dane Kissling and their children Brooke and Brenden of Kimball, NE; ; paternal grandmother Dawn Johnson of Merna, NE; maternal grandfather Wayne Chamberlin of Creston, NE; maternal grandmother Rosie Hendon of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Clyde Johnson.
