Kimball wrestlers host quad dua

The Kimball High Wrestling Team played host to Southeast, Lingle, and Morrill in a Quad Dual affair this past week. The Lingle-Fort Laramie team won all three of their team matches defeating Southeast 54-30, Morrill 48-9, and Kimball 40-25. Southeast won over Morrill 40-18 and Kimball 39-34, and Kimball won over Morrill 42-24.

In the win over Morrill, at 220 Damian Rutledge won by forfeit, 285 Eric Escajeda lost by pin :30 seconds, at 145 Ruger Lewis won by pin in 5:47, at 152 Kyle Spicer lost by pin in 1:02. Rowdy Keller at 113, Garrett Ryan at 120, Logan Stahla at 126, Justin Mohr at 132, and Colt Lewis at 138 all won by forfeit. Morrill won two weights by forfeit and three weight classes were open.

Southeast won four matches by forfeit with one weight class open by both teams. At 220 Rutledge lost by pin, at 285 Escajeda lost 10-4, at 113 Rowdy Keller won by pin in 2:46, at 132 Justin Mohr won a major decision of 9-0, at 145 Ruger Lewis lost by pin in 1:31, and Garrett Ryan at 120, Logan Stahla at 126 Colt Lewis at 138, and Kyle Spicer at 152 all won by forfeit.

In the Lingle-Ft. Laramie dual, two weight classes were open and Lingle won three weights by forfeit. Keller at 113 won a major decision of 12-0, Ryan at 120 pinned his opponent in 2:37, Stahla at 126 won 6-5, Justin Mohr at 132 lost 13-0, Colt Lewis at 138 lost by pin in 3:13, Ruger Lewis at 145 lost by pin in 2:32, and at 152 Spicer lost by pin in 2:52. Rutledge at 220 and Escajeda at 285 both won by forfeit.

The Kimball team will be in action in the two-day tournament at Lingle this Friday and Saturday.
