Harold Lloyd Brown

Harold Lloyd Brown, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, at his home in Banner County.

His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Calvary Memorial Church in Gering with Pastor Ken Boston officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be given to Harrisburg Community Church or Banner County Fire Department. Tributes of sympathy may be left at http://www.dugankramer.com

Harold was born March 3, 1929, in Banner County to William O. and Pinkie A. (Snyder) Brown. Harold grew up and lived his entire life in Banner County. He graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1947.

On September 11, 1949, he married Ruth Graham in Wood River. To this union four children were born; Pam, Steve, Craig and Brad. Harold farmed and ranched his entire life in Banner County.

Harold was a member of the Harrisburg Community Church, Elks Lodge, Eagles, and Masons.

Harold is survived by his wife Ruth; son Steve and his wife Ann; son Brad and his wife Sharon; granddaughter Hannah and her husband Ryan Norman of Lincoln; grandson Jeremy also of Lincoln; brother Gary and his wife Kathy of Huntington Beach, California; sister-in-law Maxine Brown of Harrisburg; brother-in-law Clarence Zlomke of Grand Island; sister-in-law Leona Graham of Minden; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Pam; son Craig; brother Bill; sisters Mary Margaret Brown, Helen Booker, and Dorothy Fletcher.
