Kenneth L. Barnes

Kenneth L. Barnes, 65 of Ohiowa, NE., passed away on October 14, 2013 at Tabitha Health Care Services in Lincoln, Ne. surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:00am Saturday November 2, 2013 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, Ne with Pastor Ken Watson officiating. A luncheon will follow at the United Church of Christ Congregational for all who would like to attend. Memorials can be sent to Levander Funeral Home in Albion.

Kenny, son of Lawrence and Florence (Donscheski)Barnes was born 9-8-1948 in Albion, Ne. He attended Albion Public Schools where he graduated in 1966. He then entered the workforce doing road construction and driving truck. Kenny loved driving, fishing, telling jokes, and especially spending time with family.

Kenny is survived by one son Scott and wife Lynette of Dix, and 5 daughters, Jackie and husband Lance Larsen of Cordova, Rosie and husband Don Hammond of Fremont, Kendra and husband Jason Ladd of Glenrock, Wyo., Kimberly Barnes of Fremont and Heather and her husband Thadd Fuller of Republic, Ks., one sister Karol and her husband Bruce Leisy of Leoti, Ks., three brothers, Nick of Lincoln, Ne., Bob and his wife Dawn of Fremont, Larry and his wife Joyce of San Angelo, Tx., cousin Gene and his wife Glenda of Shickley, Ne., 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, sister Nina, and nephew David.
