William Curtis Shepard

Born February 1st 1976 – Moved on to glory August 1st 2013.

William was preceded in death by his Grandfather Paul Wilfred Burns, Grandmother Opal Faye Burns, his Uncle Dale Klemmetsen, and his Father Gary Vincent Shepard. Bill grew up on a small family farm south of Kimball Nebraska with his two brothers, and his mother and father.

Bill was always outgoing, and lived life according to his own rules. After graduating from Kimball High School in 1995, he was not quite sure what to do or where to go.

Sometime around 1997 he moved in with his eldest brother Jon in Lincoln, Nebraska. Bill has called many places residences; Lincoln, Nebraska, Flint, Michigan, Henrietta, Oklahoma, Bridgeton, New Jersey, and Douglas, Wyoming.

He did however refer to Kimball Nebraska as the only home he truly loved.

Bill always struggled with weight, as many did. His way to deal with it was to be jovial about it. Bill was a Big Guy, with a Big Heart and a Huge Personality. Recently he found his Christian family in Heritage Bible Church of Lincoln Nebraska. Bill had the removal of The Lap Band in February 2013, one form of weight loss surgery. He then had Gastric Bypass after that. Bill had lost a tremendous amount of weight; he was literally half the man he used to be.

He passed on from this world, from natural causes while he slept on August 1st.

He is survived by his two children; Brooklin Rochelle Shepard, Jaden Michael Schuyler Shepard, One parent; Diana Faye Burns, Two Aunts; Victoria Klemmetsen, Camelia Cargile, two brothers; Jonnie Paul Shepard, James Michael Shepard, one sister-in-law Krindell Shepard, two nieces; Taylor Jade Shepard, Kelsey Ann Leonhardt, one nephew; Joshua Tucker Leonhardt, two adopted nephews; Jeffrey Wanner, Ethan Elam, one adopted niece; Chesley Dawn Wanner, and numerous cousins.
