Jack Robinson

Jack Robinson, 57, of Wasilla, Alaska, formerly of Kimball, Nebraska, passed away August 3, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.

Jack was born to Frank and Kitty (McDonald) Robinson on November 10, 1955 in Kimball. He graduated from the Kimball County High School in 1974. After graduation, Jack joined the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Marines from 1974 to 1978.

Jack worked in the oilfield for his father before moving to Noblesville, Indiana in 1987. He married Linda Pettijohn in Indiana and together they had one daughter, Tonya.

Jack moved to Alaska in 2006. He worked for his brother, Bret, at Robinson Heating. He enjoyed fishing with his brother off the shores of Prince William Sound. His hobbies included leather and wood working.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at a later date.

Jack is survived by his daughter Tonya Robinson and granddaughter Zoey Kay Goren of Fishers, Indiana, stepson Brandon Ahern of Los Angeles, California, brother Bret Robinson of Wasilla, Alaska, sisters Cindy Rahmig of Kimball and Janne Halstead of Taylorsville, Utah and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife Linda and a newphew, Scott.
