Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Bushnell Bits

For those of you who missed the Kimball Concert Association’s show on Sunday night, the Thuringer Salon Quintet gave a beautiful performance. It’s too bad the weather deterred people from coming.

The Lions Club pancake feed was a success, as usual. It’s always a pleasure to sit and visit with neighbors and friends–and all for a good cause!

The Bushnell Lions Club also has calendars for sale at the Sisters Grimm. Stop by and pick one up for only $5.

The village board will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 14.

Family night is Saturday, February 16 at 6 p.m. Bring a potluck dish to the community center to share with your neighbors.

For the month of February the bookstore will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (or by appointment). Lunch will only be served on Sundays. This Sunday’s lunch special is lentil stew. We may be open for lunch on Saturday of this week–check our Facebook page or call me to find out for sure.

If you have news, announcements, information about events happening nearby, or anything else you’d like to share, please contact me at [email protected] or 308-230-0683.
