The Bushnell Lions Club is having a pancake feed Saturday, February 9. Stop in from 11-1 or 5-7 for orange juice, pancakes, and sausage. $5 for adults, children 5 and under are free.

Johnsons Surplus will be open Saturday, February 9 and every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. from now until further notice.

Contact me to register for the “Cupid’s Pen” poetry workshop that Tim and Deb Nolting will be holding at the bookstore from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 10. Cost is $20 per person, and the class is limited to 10 people. We will also be making old-fashioned Valentine cards after the workshop – anyone is welcome to attend. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.

The Granny Craft Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12.

The Calvary United Methodist Women would like to invite all the ladies of the United West Parish to a Valentine Tea on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bushnell Community Center. Please RSVP by February 10th to either Charlotte Hickman (308-235-2183) or Jeanne Laboray (308-673-5660).

The village board will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 14.

For the month of February the bookstore will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (or by appointment). Lunch will only be served on Sundays. This Sunday’s lunch special is chicken salad sandwiches.

The Bushnell Lions Club has calendars for sale at the Sisters Grimm. Stop by and pick one up for only $5.
