Kimball One Of 17 Counties Declared Part Of Contiguous Disaster Region

 


Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director, Dan Steinkruger, announced 17 counties have been designated as contiguous natural disaster areas due to the ongoing drought affecting Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. Those counties are:

Contiguous to Colorado:  Chase, Cheyenne, Deuel, Dundy, Keith, Kimball, Perkins

Contiguous to Kansas:  Dundy, Franklin, Furnas, Harlan, Hitchcock, Nuckolls, Red Willow, Webster

Contiguous to Missouri: Nemaha, Otoe, Richardson

These counties were declared a Secretarial Disaster on January 9, based on their adjoining primary disaster areas in the specific...
