Some critics are calling Frankenweenie director Tim Burton’s best, which is pretty tall praise considering his collection includes Ed Wood and Edward Scissorhands. Frankenweenie uses stop-motion animation to tell a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog, except that the beloved Sparky dies and young Victor brings him back to life as a home-sewn creature.
