Rick Perry, right, treasurer for the Kimball Banner County Farm Bureau, presents a $195 check to Kimball Junior/Senior High Principal Gene Hanks for the three-point program during the basketball season. The Kimball Banner County Farm Bureau pledged $5 for every three-pointer hit by Kimball boys or girls basketball players for varsity home games in January. The teams combined to make 39 three-point baskets (25 by the boys and 14 by the girls) for a total of $195. The Interact Club has already earmarked $50 to go to the Spanish Club and help sponsor a Spring MORP Dance. The PBiS prizes will consist of several $5 gift certificates from local businesses in an effort to keep the money in Kimball. Hanks offered "a big thank you" to the Farm Bureau for its support of the school.
