    Shop-with-a-Cop was another bright spot in the holiday season. With all the help from the Nebraska State Patrol, Kimball Sheriffs Department, Kimball Police Department, Dix Volunteer Fire Department, Kimball Fire Department, Regional West EMTs, and many more that volunteered their time to make this event so special.     In the eleventh year Kimball's Quarter Store continues to grow at St. Hilda's Episcopal Church in Kimball and hopes to expand to neighboring Pine Bluffs, Wyo., next year.     The Kimball High Longhorns were blasted 63-36 on the road at Perkins County Friday night, but came back to win at home over Morrill Saturday evening 57-44 and evened their early season mark at two wins and two losses as they head into the final weekend before the Christmas break.     The Creek Valley Storm came to town last Friday looking for a win over conference rival, but those plans didn’t quite unfold the way the Storm expected. Potter-Dix shut out Creek Valley 16-0 in the first quarter and only allowed them to score 11 points in the second quarter ending the first half 11-23 Potter-Dix.     While the Lady Coyotes are getting off to a great start to the season the boys from Potter-Dix are struggling to find some rythm and scoring. With Creek Valley coming to town last Friday, the Coyotes were only able to put eight points on the board to the Storm’s 20 points in the first quarter.
