The Kimball Board of Education considered additional renovation to the Harry E. McNees Auditorium, built in the 60s, at the recent board meeting. Citizens are cautioned to be aware of heavy truck traffic as fall harvest moves into full swing. Kimball County Commissioners discussed the concern with Dave Hottell, Kimball County Roads Superintendent at the recent commissioners meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Tom Hewitt of Redwing Trading, Custom Knives has taken one of the many grant opportunities from the City of Kimball. Deloris M. Constable, 85, of Pine Bluffs, Wyo., passed away Friday morning, Sept. 14, 2018 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. Deloris was born Dec.22, 1932 in Ft. Rhonda Sue Randall, 69 of Burley, Idaho passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018. She was born on September 25, 1984 in Kimball, Nebraska to Bill and Emily (Rice) Schoenemann. In 1966, Rhonda married Frank Randall in Kimball, Nebraska. Her faith and involvement in the Episcopal church were very important to her. Kimball Lady Horns lost a 3-1 battle with Sutherland last Thursday at home. Sutherland came out ready, winning the first set 25-13. Following a long road trip to Benkleman, the Kimball High football team took an early lead over Dundy County/Stratton with senior Zane Anthony going in from 14 yards out with 8:49 showing on the clock in the opening quarter. The local golf season seems to be drawing to a close, at least in the number of golfers that are turning out on a daily basis, but the weather is so nice yet!
