    Larissa Binod is remembered. And she will be remembered. Kim Burge visited from Valentine to represent the Nebraska Recycling Council and help dedicate a tree in Kimball to honor Binod for years to come. The tree, a Turkish hazel nut, was planted in Gotte Park and has a plaque to honor Binod, who died this year at 37 after a battle with brain cancer.     The 2019 Kimball-Banner County Fair got off to a fast-paced start Monday with the Fashion Revue and Clothing Judging at Kimball High School. The 4-Hers entered a wide range of items that they had sewn or decorated – from tie-dye T-shirts to elaborate quilts.     While everyone was out in the field, Wanda Hagstrom provided an update on harvest from the southern part of Kimball County. She said that harvest was "slow and patchy, which is unusual for us." She indicated that harvest this year would take twice as long. They started last Friday with four loads of seed wheat, and Saturday they cut regular wheat that went to town.     A field of 116 golfers turned out for the 28th annual Kimball Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament this past weekend at the Four Winds Golf Course.     The Women's Golf Association League Week 9 completed the regular season for the women. Pattie Klinginsmith just keeps getting better and better. She rocked the course Wednesday with a great round of 41. Shellon Anderson's low net of 31 combined with low putts of 12 were awesome.
