    Celebrating the seventh year of the Potter CarBowl, organizer Drew Enevoldsen estimated that last weekend's event attracted 1,500 to 2,000 people. The 144 entries entered in the car show, 37 craft show tents, eight BBQ teams and 18 duckpin bowling teams were among the participants and activities.     At the July 20 Kimball City Council meeting, Christy Warner will be sworn in as the newest council member. The council at that point will be seating an entire board after months of discourse. The decision to appoint Warner to the position did not occur without a few bumps in the road.     The Kimball School Board approved two projects for the high school during its most recent regular meeting June 15. First, an LED lighting project and renovation project on the junior high/senior high walls were approved and will begin shortly. Mohr Ranch and Construction received the bid to remove 5780 square feet of carpet in the hallways and texture drywall, prime, and paint the walls for a total of $18,500.
