    The Kimball City Council voted 4-0 to proceed with the opening of the swimming pool. The Health Directives from the Governor's Office have complicated matters with the pool, but it appears that by June 22 they will be able to operate at 75% capacity, which is pretty a pretty normal level of activity, according to Carson Sisk, water superintendent.     Reports throughout the community have indicated that two employees in the Kimball Public Schools’ district office at Kimball Jr/Sr High School are no longer employed in the district. Those reports have been confirmed. School board member Carrie Tabor, now working on the office staff, said by phone from the office that district business manager Harold Farrar was no longer working with the school system.     The Kimball County Sheriff's Office has a new deputy as of last Tuesday. Joseph Leitza was sworn in and began his career in law enforcement. After a week on the job, Deputy Leitza said he has "really been enjoying himself." Leitza is from Pine Bluffs, graduated from Pine Bluffs High School in 2014 and worked in the area for the last few years. He said, "It's something I always wanted to do.     Gotte Park is the location for fire truck rides on the 4th of July, according to Kimball Fire Chief Andrew Bohac. The rides will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. The firemen will also have additional trucks set up so children can spray the fire hose.     The Kimball Women's Golf Association started league play in June with eight teams. The women played the front nine, it was a beautiful evening and the course was in excellent shape. Pattie Klinginsmith's solid performance earned her low gross scores of 45, while Phyllis Greenwood captured low net with a 34. Jean Barrett's putter was hot as she only needed it 15 times.     What a great golf weekend at the Four Winds Golf Course this past Saturday-Sunday.
