  • Summer action at Oliver Reservoir is increasing

According to Randy Gunn, head of maintenance at Oliver, there are about 50 designated camp sites at the lake, and his best guess was nearly 40 of them were occupied over Memorial Day weekend. "It is really hard to get an accurate head count of lake-goers, especially when there are four to...

  • A look back at the Kimball Boy's Golf season

    Tom Southard|Jun 7, 2018

The Kimball High Boy’s Golf Team has put another outstanding season in the books with a lot of good memories for Coach Chad Wise and his team. The Longhorns recorded team championships, 2 runner-up finishes and a 4th place State Tournament. I enjoyed an All Star Basketball Saturday evening giving me one more opportunity to watch some of our immediate area All Star girls in action, including Kimball’s Hannah Biesecker, who had an All Star performance hitting 4 treys and scoring in double figures with 12 points.
