    It took close to 90 minutes for a Kimball County jury of 6 women and 6 men to acquit Kenneth Childs of the one charge of Subornation of Perjury. Subornation of perjury is “persuading” or “convincing” someone to lie on the witness stand in an official proceeding. Kenneth Childs was accused but found not guilty of Subornation of Perjury, attempting to persuade his wife, Jean Childs, to lie on the witness stand.     As summer approaches there is always more of a need for blood and according to Donna Linn, donations are always a little bit slower during the summer months. Donna Linn has organized the Kimball Community Blood Drive for the passed eight years.     It was an All Star Basketball night this past Saturday at Cougar palace in Scottsbluff with the staging of the 2019 Panhandle Prep All Star Basketball games featuring both girls and boys of Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming with even a South Dakota young man included.
