    The Banner County girls finished fifth and the boys took sixth place at the Cheyenne County Invitational held Friday in Sidney. The Lady Wildcats had a trio of second place finishes at the meet in addition to some strong performances. In the throws, MaKenna Dahlgrin led the way with a second and third place finish.     Fueled by Brady Kilgore’s two meet record wins in the hurdles, the Kimball 8th grade boys track team emerged as team champions at the South Platte Valley Athletic Conference Junior High Track meet held at Imperial this past week. The Kimball boys scored 115 point to win the team title easily with Hershey a distant runnerup with 81 followed by Sutherland with 76.5, Chase County 66, Perkins County 59, North Platte St Pats 53.5, and Bridgeport 14.     The Kimball Booster Club held its annual banquet last week and presented a variety of awards. The booster club handed out scholarships, presented hall of fame inductions, gave out a variety of awards and honored each KHS sport plus one act play and speech.     Kimball High School will be represented by a trio of co-valedictorians for the graduating Class of 2015. Colton Stull, Jessica Hanks and Rowdy Keller were named the top students of the graduating class. Commencement ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, in the KHS Gym. Stull and Keller have attended school in Kimball their entire lives, while Hanks moved to town in the fifth grade.     Potter-Dix guidance counselor Paula Wolff worked the figures several times to determine who would be valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2015 graduating class. Regardless of the number of tries, she came up with the same answer by the slimmest of margins. Ryley Hicks was named valedictorian by six thousandths of a point.
