    The Kimball High Boy's Golf Team picked up yet another win in capturing the Team Championship, and the individual medalist honors, at the Kimball Invitational Tournament held this past Friday at the Four Winds Golf Course. The tournament was postponed one day and resulted in near perfect weather conditions for all of the young golfers. Kimball had a winning score of 322, with Perkins County runner-up with 339.     Kimball had some highlights at the Bayard B-C-D Track Invite this past week, but none brighter than the winning triple jump mark by freshman, Sam Bemis, which also established a new Kimball High all-time record for the event. Bemis got out 34'2.5" to win the event and better the old mark of 33'9.5" set by Shelby Vogel in 2014.     It’s District competition time. The Kimball High Track Team will be at District in Sutherland today (Thursday), with a start time of 10 a.m. Mountain Time. Two of the Longhorn tracksters will be looking for return trips to the State meet in Omaha May 18-19.     Kimball's, Jordan Greenwood, and his Southeast Community College Men's Golf Team is headed to the National Junior College Golf Tournament being held in Foley, Alabama, after winning the recent Regional Tournament held at the York Country Club Golf Course. The Regional Tournament consisted of 36 holes of play on Day One, followed by another 18 holes on Day Two. As a team, Southeast won handily over all other teams.     Kimball High School students picked up around businesses on Tuesday, May 1, to give back to the community for all the support the school receives. They combined the hard work with a fundraiser and a meal. Seniors put together salads, baked goods, and grilled hot dogs for the entire school for lunch before being sent around town to clean up.
