A special election will be held in June for voters to decide on a ½ cent infrastructure sale tax. Kimball City Council members approved in a 3-0 vote to put the ½ cent sales tax on the ballot. Kimball High School senior Madison Ebeling has had a senior week to remember. Her cheerleading team placed first in the Class D Non-Tumbling Division at the Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Competition in Grand Island.
