    Feb. 2012 Kimball’s junior high boys lost two heartbreakers to Bridgeport on Monday. The 7th graders dropped a tight two point contest, 29-27--a game coach Dane Wurdeman characterized as hard fought all the way. “We just couldn’t get shots to fall when we needed them to,” he added. Brandon Barker let the way with 12 points, followed by Jaden Withrow’s eight. On the 8th grade side things were even more nerve-wracking.     Reverend Donald E. Littrell, 101, formerly of Scottsbluff, entered into Eternal Life Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard.     In Memory of Our Beloved Mother, Gaye M. Russell. She was born on August 28, 1928 in Hobart, Oklahoma and passed from this world into Heaven on January 11, 2013. She was married in Kimball in September, 1947, to Neil O. Russell (deceased April, 1983) where she lived for over 40 years. She moved to Fountain Hills in 1985.     Ilene Atkins Chiles was born near Dix, August 12, 1910, the daughter of Dallas K. and Minnie (Brothers) Atkins. She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska (Lincoln) and taught in Nebraska and Iowa. On September 18, 1939, she was married to C. Lloyd Chiles. They were the parents of two children, Annette Lynn Chiles Schneider of Omaha and Paul Vernon Chiles of Inwood, West Virginia, who survive. She is also survived by granddaughter Suzanne Nelson and great granddaughter Katie, both of Salt Lake City, Utah, and several nieces and nephews. S...
