    A Kimball grand jury, convened on Nov. 9, found no criminal conduct in the death of Jesus Estrada-Perez, who was found hanging in a Kimball jail cell Aug. 1 and died days after. In anticipation of new carpet installation, they are hosting a book sale/garage sale on Nov. 28 and again Dec. 5 in the west room of the library.     Kimball Mayor, Keith Prunty responded to the letter to the editor submitted by J. Pete Scales of Pocatello, Idaho, and published in the Nov. 5 edition of the Western Nebraska Observer. Scales voiced his concern over a letter received by his sister, who is 80 years old, from the City of Kimball regarding tree removal.     Despite the 1 win-8 loss season for the Kimball High Football Team, there was good effort, good attitude, and progress of the younger players, leaving a positive outlook for next year.
