The Kimball Longhorns Boys Basketball team went 2-1 this week as they dominated South Platte, had a hard fought victory over Haxtun, and lost a tough game on Saturday at Chase County. The Kimball Longhorns boys basketball team had a very successful week to wrap up competition in 2024. The freshman team started off the week on Monday with a resounding victory over Lingle-Fort Laramie. On Thursday and Saturday, the JV team continued its winning ways by defeating Hershey and Gordon-Rushville as they improved to 6-1 on the season. The Kimball Longhorns Boys Basketball team had an excellent start to the 2024-25 season as they rolled over Leyton and Bayard at the Arena to kick off the season. Against Leyton on Friday, the Longhorns raced out to a 42-13 halftime lead and cruised to a 71-25 victory. The Longhorn defense set the tone as they forced 29 turnovers and had 13 steals.
