The Glow Ball 4-person scramble golf tournament was held this past weekend at the Four Winds Golf Course with 16 teams entered. The event was sponsored by the local Masons chapter, and was termed a success with everyone having fun.

The format had golfers playing 9 holes in the daylight and 9 holes in the dark. The winning team of Darrin and Stacy Lonsdale and Mark and Tiffany Anderson, shot 32-34=66. Taking 2nd place was the team of Bob, Katie, Charlie and Amanda Culek with their round of 34-34=68. Third place went to the team of Robbie Dunkin, Will Carson, Dennis Gretch and Damin Gretch with their score of 35-34=69.

Next scheduled event at the Four Winds is the Panhandle Senior Women’s Tournament set for this Monday, July 23. I have been informed there is a large signup of ladies coming to Kimball, so you need to call the Four Winds Pro Shop in regards to open golf times.

----------------------------------------------

Also, time to get your teams registered for the Kimball Hospital Foundation 4-person scramble coming up August 4th, at the Four Winds. This is one of the larger tournaments the Four Winds hosts each year with lots of flag prizes and raffle prizes to the golfers entered. Call the Four Winds Pro Shop for more info and to register your team.

Dillon Wise and Zane Anthony both played in the Nebraska Junior Golf Tournament in Columbus this past week with neither having their best days for certain. Zane shot rounds of 89-91 and Dillon 84-80 and both failed to make the cut to play one more day in the finals.
