Local volunteers improve neighbors sidewalk

Building on the tradition of excellence, local Rotarians, Lions and other volunteers gathered together last week to replace a sidewalk for an elderly Kimball couple.

The project took two days to complete. Volunteers built the sidewalk form on day one at the local residence.

Several days later the concrete was poured, leveled and smooth.

Because of the can-do attitude, and the spirit of community service, the homeowners can now enjoy a safe, and eye-catching sidewalk.

Volunteers included Dan Dean, Ann and Roger Wynne, Kathy and Sonny Porter, Keith Prunty, Andy and Joe Bremer, Bill Hinton, Dennis Lukassen, Chris Sheenan as well as Sergio and Enrique from the Colorado Cattle Company.
