Jordan Greenwood performs well at national tournament

Kimball's Jordan Greenwood, had the honor of playing in the Division Two National Golf Tournament held in Foley, Alabama, this past week as a member of the Southeast Community College Team of Beatrice, Nebraska, after the Storm won their Regional Tournament earlier.

The team ended up 8th in the National Tournament, which was a four-day affair. Jordan, in his first year of collegiate golf, had four days of rounds in the seventies, shooting 77-78-76-71 and held his own with the Nation's best. His experience was even more special when his coach asked Jordan's father, Kenny, to serve as an assistant coach, allowing Kenny to walk and instruct his son in a very personal manner. Jordan's mother, Jennifer, and sister, Jenna, also made the trip to Alabama and the entire family enjoyed themselves very much.

Jordan, and one other team member, will be back next season, but they will need to replace three team members off this year's team who will graduate from the two-year school.
