Terry J. Howard

Terry J. Howard, 64, of Pine Bluffs, died in Albin, Wyoming on Monday, April 30, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Carla Gunn officiating. Burial will be in the Kimball Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friends may also visit http://www.cantrefh.com to view Terry's Tribute Wall and Leave condolences and stories for the family. Memorials may be given in Terry's memory to the Pine Bluffs Volunteer Fire Department. The services for Terry have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Terry John Howard was born in Mullen, Nebraska on January 10, 1954, the son of William Bruce and Phyllis (Furrow) Howard. He was raised and attended school in Kimball, graduating in 1972. Terry enlisted in the United States Marines and served his country from 1972-1976. He was married to Aneita Prentice in North Carolina in May of 1974. They lived in Alliance and he worked several different jobs in the area. They were later divorced. In May of 1982 Terry married Anita Biberos and they lived in Kimball and then Sidney. He worked for Cheyenne County as a dispatcher from 1986-1995. Terry attended Hastings Central College and received his truck driving degree. He then worked for various trucking companies, and was working for Smithfield Wyoming at the time of his death. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and watching NASCAR, football and westerns on TV. During high school he excelled in cross country and track and was active in wrestling.

Survivors include his mother Phyllis Howard of Kimball, sons Jason Howard of Alliance, NE., and Benito Howard of Kimball, NE; daughter Phoebe (Brian) Gray of Kimball, NE; brothers William (Vivian) Howard of Lincoln, NE., Lloyd Howard of Kimball, NE., Ronald (Michele) Howard of Gering, NE., and Leroy (Marie) Howard of Queen Creek, AZ; sisters Jean McCown of Colorado Springs, CO., Patricia (Wayne) Gilbert of Pine Bluffs, WY., and Debra (Bill) Grant of Kimball, NE; grandson Brady Howard; and 13 neices and nephews. His father, grandparents, 4 aunts and 3 uncles preceded him in death.
