Great weather brings out great showing at Best in the West

The Outstanding performance at the 2018 Best in the West Track and Field Meet should go to those who delayed the running of the meet one day to give the athletes, and fans, a chance to perform, and enjoy, excellent weather, instead of more wind and cold. The athletes showed their appreciation with some outstanding performances, none better than the boy's pole vault, where Mitchell's Justin Spencer won at 15'3" to better the previous meet record of 14'2" set by Brandon Childs of Torrington, back in 2007.
