Wise and Anthony Go One-Two at Gering Quad

The Kimball High Boy's Golf Team opened their season at the Gering Quad this past week in an event that was not on the original schedule. It involved the hosting Gering team, Scottsbluff, Mitchell and Kimball. No team score was kept and there were 35 golfers total, including 8 Kimball golfers.

Kimball played well, especially since they had but a very few days where they were allowed on the Kimball course, or even the driving range and practice putting green. It was a late afternoon event, starting at 4 p.m. and got rather cool before the golfers were done with their 9 holes of play.
