Kimball school board appoints interim superintendent

Kent Halley was hired as Kimball’s interim superintendent at the Dec. 11 Kimball Board of Education meeting, following the resignation of Marshall Lewis.

Most recently from Mitchell, having served 10 years as high school principal there and 13 years as superintendent, Halley is currently retired.

He received word that Kimball was looking for a short-term, interim superintendent through the Nebraska School Board Association and is planning to serve locally from Jan. 3, 2018 through the end of June 2018.
