Lady Horns split triangular at Hemingford

Lady Longhorn Volleyball had a Triangle Tournament in Hemingord last Tuesday, Sept. 12. Kimball. faced off in two games, one with Hemingford and the second with Gordon.

First game with Hemingford ended with a loss in three sets. Hannah Biesecker had 13 kills, three points, one ace serve and three digs in this game. Justine Heeg had three kills, 12 assists, eight points, and two ace serves. Kate Reader ended with four kills, one assist, five points, two ace serves. Madison Wynne one assist, two points; Carli Wurdeman had three assists, two points, one dig; Jenna five kills, three points, one ace serve; Sydney had one kill, one assist and added five digs. Sheridan Magninie put in 10 points and Lacey Klinkhammer added three digs.

Second game of the evening against Gordon, Kimball came away with a 3-0 victory. A good way to end the night! Hannah had 16 kills, nine points, one block, and five digs. Justine ended the night with four kills, 20 assists, seven points, three ace serves and three digs. Kate had seven kills, two points and one ace serve. Madison had one kill, three assists, one point and one dig. Carli kicked in three assists and two digs. Jenna Greenwood had five kills, one assist, 14 points and five ace serves. Sheridan had racked up five points and Lacey had three digs.

Next game on tap for the Lady Longhorns was in Pine Bluffs this past Thursday, Sept. 14. Kimball faced off in Pine Bluffs in three sets, all were very close in points but came up just short. Hannah ended the night with 14 kills, four points, five digs and two blocks. Justine had two kills, 17 assists and seven points. Madison added three assists and one point. Kate had six kills and two points, two blocks, and two digs. Carli kicked in three points, two ace serves and four digs. Jenna added one assist, three points, one ace serve and one block. Sydney had two blocks and three digs. Sheridan tacked on six points and one ace serve.

Next game for Kimball Volleyball is today, Thursday Sept. 21, with and in Sidney starting at 4 p.m.
