Lady Coyotes hand Creek Valley their first loss 3-1

Potter-Dix Lady Coyotes matched up with undefeated Creek Valley this past Saturday, Sept. 16, in front of their home crowd for a conference game.

Coach Brad Hicks is very pleased with how the girls are working together and making plays. After a little line-up shifting Potter-Dix might just have it figured out.

“We are still moving and adjusting our line-up, mainly our setters. Payge Hoffman started the year with Hannah Stahl as our second setter. We moved Brooke Moench over last week and we are liking what we have seen with this line-up. Trinity Langely and Audrey Juelfs have been solid at the net and moving Payge, Hannah, and Erica Bogert has opened up some additional attack opportunities,” Hicks said.

The Lady Coyotes came away with another win, topping the Storm 3-1, to give Creek Valley their first loss of the season. “Saturday was a nice win for our team, Creek Valley is in our conference and subdistricts so we could play them up to four more times this year,” Hicks added

Next game set for Potter-Dix, who is 5-3 on the season, is a home conference game tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 22, with Minatare.
