Junior High program suffers lack of numbers

Kimball has very limited athletes this year for Jr. high football, when we are all ready to go we have 20 kids out. We got all the boys out in the jr. high with the exception of 7 or 8. Just not a lot of boys in these 7th and 8th grade classes. This year we will combine to make one team and only get one game with our lack of numbers.

We had our first game Sept. 5 at home against Hemingford. This was played as a 8 /11 man game. When Kimball had the ball we played 11 man and when Hemingford had the ball it was 8. It is fun to play a little 8 man football. It brings back old memories of high...
