Banner County Cross Country adds three new runners

With four runners out for Banner County Cross Country, Kari Gifford's athletes will not be able to compete as a team, but that isn't slowing them down.

Senior Courtney Knisley, a three-time state qualifier, is joined by sophomore Deven Sullivan and freshmen Cheyanne Knisley and Avery Wicker this year.

Courtney will be expected to lead her fellow runners and Gifford will rely on her to push the newcomers, share her experience and commitment.

An injury may prevent Wicker from joining in these early practice days and first competitions.
