Art journaling combines healing with creativity

Liz Williams, Kimball County’s Panhandle Health Group Peer Navigator, has brought a fun, new wellness tool to Kimball.

Williams introduced an Art Journaling Workshop on Monday, July 3, to a group of six in Kimball, and she said four more participants are expected to join soon. A different topic is introduced each week and a variety of mediums and resources are offered as participants are guided through the process.

Art Journaling is a way to record thoughts, memories and emotions with the use of images, art and words, combining record keeping with creativity.
