Dorne O. "Salty" Solberg passed away March 10, 2017 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 30, 1934 to Andrew Solberg and Christine Vaselenko Solberg in Williston, North Dakota.
He graduated from high school in Williston and pursued a career in the oil field industry, eventually moving his family to Kimball, Nebraska. He became a wireline operator owning his own company, Lane Wells, and later working for Oil Well Perforators before retiring and returning to the family farm in Williston.
