Kent E. Burt

Kent Ervin Burt, 56, passed away January 25, 2017 at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO.

He was born September 14, 1960 in Greely, Colorado to Ervin and Emogene (Parker) Burt. He had many skills including being a rest area supervisor and farming. He was a family man, grandfather, and loving son, that loved spreading the word of God. He was an avid Huskers fan who enjoyed fantasy football, Facebook, and playing Throne Rush.

He is survived by children, Kevin (Taisshia) Burt of Holly, Colo., Phillip Burt of Kimball, April Burt of Kimball; grandchildren, Trentyn Burt, Ryker Burt, Oliver Vynn Burt, Rion Ervin Burt; siblings, Nora Treat of Gretna, Nebraska, Kevin Burt of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Daryl Burt of Kimball; fiancé, Debbie Laughlin of Kimball; mother; Emogene Burt of Gretna; Nephews, Matthew (Daisy) Burt, Daniel (Jessi) Burt, James and Steven Treat; great-nephews, Bryson, Nolan; and loyal friend, his chihuahua, Chippers.

Memorial service was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Bushnell, Nebraska.
