Banner County Wildcats fell to Hyannis

Banner County suffered a 67-28 loss to the Hyannis Longhorns on Friday, Oct. 7. No stats were available for this game.

Our problem we had against Hyannis was self-inflicted mistakes, turnovers, penalties and missed tackles,” coach Charles Jones said. “I felt we played much better on defense, we just did not finish plays. Offensively we struggled with blocking and penalties, we were able to move the ball well, again, just not able to finish plays. I felt as a group we are improving we have two games left with very quality opponents and we are going to have to play well.”

The next competition for the Wildcats (1-5) will be on Friday, Oct. 13 in Harrison against the Sioux County Warriors (3-3)

Hyannis 26 12 14 15 – 67

Banner Co. 8 2 6 12 – 28
