Coyotes suffered discouraging defeat

The Potter-Dix Coyotes took the road, Friday, to take on the Arthur County Wolves at Arthur County High School. A tough game for the Coyotes as they opened their season with a 0-69 conference loss.

The Coyotes struggled to get their ground game going with Tyrus Gawith leading all rushers with 12 carries for 75 yards. Connor Williams followed with 9 yards on 20 carries.

According to the stats, the Coyotes did ring up four interceptions against the Wolves. Gawith led with two picks, Dylan Nielsen and JT. Herboldsheimer each had 1.

The Coyotes will be on the road again this week as they travel to Hyannis on Friday, for another conference game against the Longhorns.
