Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Jock Talk

Let’s talk Golf. Right now golf is about all I have to report on, and not a lot of golf happenings. The Kimball Hospital Foundation 25th Annual Four Person Scramble is coming up August 6th and this is your chance to have a lot of fun and support a very worthy cause. The proceeds from this Golf Classic will be used to help purchase a new bathing spa for patients at Kimball Health Services.

Each player will get lunch, supper, and a Foundation Golf Classic Dry-Zone, moisture-wicking polo shirt. There are also numerous raffle and flag prizes, and a putting contest for cash prizes.

The cost is $75 per player or $300 per team. Lunch and registration is at 11 a.m. and there is a shotgun start at 12 noon. Sign up now by calling the Pro Shop at 235-4241 or event organizer Kerry Ferguson at 235-1967.

While on the subject of calling the Four Winds Pro Shop, they are needing help right now so if interested, please drop off your resume and apply at the Pro Shop.
