Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Local library offering genealogy class

This genealogy project can also be used as a 4-H project.

Where did we come from? Does this age-old question spark the desire to learn more about ones heritage?

The Kimball Public Library presents a new project for kids - “Explore your Heritage” camp with Ali Hunsaker and Jan Sears.

The camp will be a two-day workshop on June 27 and June 28 from 10 a.m. through noon for children aged eight to 12 at the Kimball Public Library

Children in attendance will learn about the importance of family history by putting together their own fan charts, learning how to use microfilm, searching genealogy sites and other fun activities.

This genealogy project can also be used as a 4-H project.

Sign up at the Kimball Public Library or the Kimball-Banner County Extension office.
