Kimball senior Creg Barker follows through in the shotput at the George Calvert invite in Morrill. Barker finished one place out of a medal ending up seventh with his best shove of 38'6".
A solid day for the Kimball High Track Team at the George Calvert Invite held at Morrill this past Saturday. Although Mitchell won both the boy's and girl's team titles, and Bridgeport was runner up in both, the Kimball boys finished third and the Lady Longhorns fourth. The Horns had their shining moments.
Mitchell tallied 157 team points in the boy's division holding off Bridgeport who scored 150. Kimball had 105, Gering JV 36, Morrill 25, Sidney JV 21, Minatare 8, Scottsbluff JV 6, Sioux County 5, Southeast 4, Hay Springs 2, Guernsey-Sunrise 1.
