LTTE: Great emergency service in Kimball

This comes as a public expression of gratitude to our amazing, caring, wonderful Kimball Volunteer Fire Department. After 10:00 p.m., on March 29, I returned to the kitchen and living room areas of the house – after teaching evening piano lessons in the other end of the house – to find those rooms filled with smoke.

Within five minutes after placing my call to 911, they were coming to my rescue, removing the crazy microwave oven that had set itself on fire from the house to the yard. If they had not come so promptly and worked so efficiently, I don’t even want to imagine what might have happened.

My thanks also to our fine ambulance crew, who checked me over with great care.

I feel so blessed to live in Kimball. Thanks so much to all of you!
