Abraham Lincoln visits Kimball

 


The person and character of the greatest U. S. President came alive with a presentation by John Voehl, a lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters, who has been presenting as Abraham Lincoln for several years. Voehl approached Kimball High School Principal Eugene Hanks about presenting a 150th anniversary presentation of Lincoln and his Civil War presidency. On Nov. 10 Mary Lynch Elementary students in grades 3 – 8 attended an assembly at the Harry E. McNees Auditorium where Voehl spoke of Lincoln's education, childhood, second election during the Civil War, and other facts...
